About
My name is Eden Willow
Eden is an illustrator and artist from North Devon. Her colourful, playful storytelling illustrations and written stories are directed towards young children as well as anyone who can connect with the nostalgia of the work. Her aspirations are to publish her most recent children’s picture book, Pidge’s Quest, and to illustrate already written stories.
Her work is created with traditional mediums of paint, pencils, paper collages, and digital materials. Her practice is inspired by her love for nature, animals, personal experiences, memories, and her inner child. She’s passionate about weaving meaning within her illustrations via research of facts and historical moments.
Eden has always been drawn to the world of art since a little girl.

Awareness and Familiarity
I'm aware and familiar with what people want by keeping up with trends and looking for gaps in the market. Producing new and exciting work is important, I'm an illustrator who can do just that.
Experimentation and learning
I like to experiment with my mediums and my process, which keeps me on my toes. I love receiving feedback as I am constantly learning and adapting to my role as an illustrator. I am also confident working with Photoshop.
Responsibility and ability
My responsibility as an illustrator is to create work that visually communicates and provokes a range of emotional responses and thoughts through colour, shape, composition, textures and more.
Projects and Aspirations
I have recently been focusing on writing and illustrating children's picture books. However, I am also open to other projects like editorials and marketing. I'm also looking to get my Picture book, Pidge's Quest published.
Traditional and digital
I provide a comprehensive skillset by working traditionally and digitally, creating professional-ready illustrations. I can also combine both approaches seamlessly.
A little bit more about me
Outside illustration, I love to crochet, sew, embroider, felt, paint, go out for walks at beaches and woodlands, play board games, cook home-made meals, drive my car, go for picnics and BBQs, and sit in the sun. I love spring and summer. I love pizza, olives and ice-cream. I love jewellery, tattoos, piercings and colouring my hair red or burgandy.
